« It’s been 11 years since I chose to work in design. And it’s changed a lot during that time. Design has become an increasingly visible part of daily life. Which is why it’s interesting to ask questions about the objects that surround us and their legitimacy. We are far from seeing their production slow down, quite the opposite. So how can we justify the role of the person behind them, the designer ? I feel it is important today to explain and show how it is possible to take a different approach to design, on a more sustainable scale, paying closer attention to where objects come from and how they are made. We don’t need to look far to find local treasures and valuable skills, but they are being lost. It is our duty as designer to shine the spotlight on them and prove that a local value chain not only remains feasible, but also and especially, is richer, higher in quality and sustainable. In response to this questioning, Anaïs Fretigny and I created Margaux Keller Collections, a publishing house for exceptional objects and furniture made by local manufacturers with unrivalled expertise. Since 2019, the Vue Mer, Mistral Noir, Pin Parasol, Paradis Perdus, L’Heure Rose, Château Borély, Au Vallon!, Les Mimosas and Sole Mio collections have been successively launched. »

Our committment
Eco-design has always been at the heart of my work as a designer.
The objects and pieces of furniture we design are conceived to be durable and long-lasting. We wanted to go a step further and give a real ethical and ecological dimension to our collections. Moving towards a more responsible way of living and working is a matter of truth, a duty. We work towards this goal at every stage of our development, working hand in hand with certified manufacturers whose materials are certified and who pay particular attention to recycling and waste reprocessing. To reduce our environmental impact, we use natural materials. We promote short distribution circuits for our collections.

Nous soutenons les métiers d'arts en collaborant avec des artisans et manufactures qui préservent des savoir-faire, parfois ancestraux.
