The Oli vase is inspired by the traditional Provençal mortar used to pound condiments. Alliance of two clays from the south of France, one naturally terracotta and the other white, which is dressed in a flamboyant mimosa yellow enamel. The rustic utensil here takes on an oversized sculptural format to pay homage to the ochres of Provence and transform daily life into eternity.

"This time of olives. I can't think of anything more epic. From the branch of grey steel to the clay jar, the olive flows through a hundred hands, tumbling down with leaps and bounds, piling up its heavy black water in the attics and the old beams groaning under its weight in the night. On the banks of this great river of fruit flowing through the villages, all of our assembled world sings."
The poem of the olive, Jean Giono.
