Mousco, cloth hanger

The Mousco and Cicala cloth hanger are inspired by the small Provençal motifs called "fly" found on the Indians, as the merchants of Marseille fabrics used to amuse themselves by calling them. Reinterpreted graphically in bronze of art, the modernized patterns come to rest on the wall like little insect-jewelry. Their golden reflections evoke the sparkle of the sun on the swell.

"In this country, fabrics have always had color but also spirit. Cévennes silk, white muslins, boutis or even the famous Indian women from the East have shaped the heritage of Provençal textiles. "
